My last piece of advice...

If there’s one thing I’ve learned throughout my florist journey, it’s that confidence doesn’t come before you start — it comes from starting.

So many people tell me they’d love to learn floristry, but they worry they’re not creative enough, experienced enough, or talented enough. The truth is, every florist starts exactly the same way: with a single stem, a willingness to learn, & a love of flowers.

Don't wait until everything feels perfect. Pick up the flowers, have a go, make mistakes, and enjoy the process. Some of the most beautiful creations come from experimenting and trusting your instincts.

Floristry is more than arranging flowers. It's about slowing down, creating something with your hands, and finding joy in the journey.

So be kind to yourself, embrace the learning process, and remember — every expert florist was once a beginner.

Enjoy the journey.
